Default ::.. So you're wondering whether to get halo/angel eye projectors...

While not exactly the same 'pose', you get the picture Stock bulbs were used in the halo rings. The non-Depo halos aren't as uneven in real life, but if you photograph them, you can see the hotspots where the bulbs are. This is because all of them use a few big 194 wedge bulbs whereas Depo uses little bulbs. You STILL see hotspots if you look hard with the Depos, but it's not as evident. Also in my opinion, the city lights ruin the halo effect on the non-Depo ones. Maybe taking them out would make them look better. Hope this answers your halo/not to halo questions.

NB: you'll notice I used black electrical tape on the last picture to try and 'cut' the full halo circle. In the middle picture, I used WHITE electrical tape and in the night time, it diffuses it better without looking weird in day.

im gonna mod the Depo lights so that the outer halo flashes with the turn signal, turning off when the turn signal is on, but im gonna wire a capacitor in there so it fades out..... after i get the center console back in :/

I had that happen inadverdently on my lady's Focus after installing screwed up aftermarket tail lights. Didn't look good at all. The halos on hers were LEDs and in my opinion of fade or no-fade, it's going to look corny. Then again, who knows! Let's see it in action once you've got it working.
