Just curious, in the first pic did you cut the car and then grayscale the backgroud or is there an easier way?

Two easy ways to to it.

1. Cut the car and grayscale.
2. Duplicate the layer, put grayscale on top, and start erasing.

In this case I did both... cut the car, grayscale, then erase a little to show the fog light throw.
