E34 radio
My radio started to act weird about a month ago or so.
It keeps asking for the code, and suddenly yesterday the LCD started to display all the possible readings in no particular order. I was not able to turn on either the radio or the tape. When I do that all I get form the speakers is some static. Does anyone have any ideea of what this is?

Sounds like your radio is going out. I would suggest looking into getting a new one.

someone tried to steal my radio last night.
it was on the seat when i got into the car, all unplugged. O_o

Yeah I can see it now. The guy rips it out and then sees there's no damn harness... it's hardwired! Guy then chucks it on the seat and goes on his merry way.

hehe, only took me 2 mins to plug it back in, punch in the code, and go to work listening to the radio.
the thing has been popped out of the dash since i got it, and i havent bothered fixing it the whole time.
