    Default Oldest Living Fan Clutch

OK, so as part of my "If it ain't broke, fix it before it breaks" campaign, did water pump and fan clutch today. Fan clutch had a little slippage (b- on the newspaper test), once done,I had a closer look at the old clutch, and it is stamped 6/88, so it seems possible or even likely that this is the original fan clutch (I have a 11/88 build date). Anybody come across a still mostly functioning unit that's been in service this long?

    Mine still works too.

I have an ICV with 85 stamped on it in my car, which is another strange move from the previous owner, but it works well.
