The crappy part is the 'computer' part usually is analog. I junked it after unsuccessfully trying to mate more up to date parts to the phone wiring in the car. Reminds me... i have to remove the mic from the pillar someday.

Just install a new bluetooth car phone system into your E34... way easier than trying to make that old thing work... The bluetooth system are cheap on ebay... Sony/Ericsson or Motorola...
The Parrot system are pricy but has more features.
I am an original option junkie...![]()

I have a blackbox!!
Now I'm looking for the cable or a schematic to make the cable.
The big connector has been cut of the cable I have.
Please let me know when you have it.

We all know my fetish for originality but why would you want that crap in your car when it doesn't work?Originally Posted by TWISM

If I'm correct, this is a GSM900 phone and here in the Netherlands there are still 2 providers which support the GSM900.
Also I know this, because several of my friends made it in there car...![]()

Fair enough then. Just seems like a lot of wiring and stuff. Kind of a funky retro look I suppose.
