What is "good" MPG for '93 525i M50?

I was curious as to what can be expected from my 525.
Actually, my wife's....but anyhoo...
She is a VERY well-mannered driver, mostly short trips (15 miles or less) and little highway.
That 21.4 gallon tank seems to last a LOOOOONG time.

I do about 3/4 highway driving and get 26mpg. My wife does mostly city driving and gets around 21 (but that's with a bad O2 sensor).

I have an S5 Ac Schnitzer 3.7 that gives 14 mpg on a good day and 8 mpg on the track.I had a B10 Alpina that gave 16mpg normal driving but went down to 6-7 mpg when on the track.But you don't buy these things for the economy .......If you want economy buy a front wheel drive mongrel piece of rice burning rubbish,but you have tasteand have chosen a proper car! :-)
