my sunroof with do the went position, but when i go to open it, the back dips, but then stops and wont open anymore, but it sounds like the motor is doing somthing. any ideas?

Not sure I follow you description..." My sunroof with do the went position"??
I kinda have the feeling one of the ramps broke. Try operating the sunroof with the manual crank while guiding it by hand until its open enough to look for missing broken parts.
