did you shorten the cable sheath enough?
Well I wound up going nuts cleaning the interior yesterday and thought I'd fix the "rocking chair" issue after just completing the headrest fix a few weeks ago. I followed Winfred's write-up and it eliminated about 95% of the rock without even having to take the seat out. But as soon as I went to adjust the seat to its normal position again, the rock came right back, just as bad as before. I want to take the whole seat out, but after looking at Winfred's pictures more in detail, they look different then mine. I don't have the memory buttons on the side of my seat, but I do have the little cut-out. What do you guys think??
Here are the pic's of Winfred's seats:

I think he means that the entire seat moves, not just the back... almost like the seat isn't bolted down correctly...
mine does it..... not quite enough to force me to fix it yet.... but maybe I'll knock it out one of these days, along with the headrest.

ding ding. Yeah I can literally shake the whole seat back and forth, like it's being held by string.Originally Posted by PhilipJCaputo

Mine is just twisted, and the seat back is always falling off. Oh noes.
