    Default erratic OBC temp reading

My OBC temperature readings have been quite accurate before. After I had some repair done on my a/c which meant partially opening the dash, the temp readings would show rapidly increasing temperatures everytime the car slows for traffic 34...36...38...40...up to 45 deg Centigrade. Before, it would remain stable and true even in very hot weather which is around 34-36 deg Centigrade. Where would the sensor be located? I'm suspecting that it was dislocated when they partially pulled down the dash.

the sensor id next to the foglight in front, find it disconnect the plugin lead clean and use stabillant 22 and plug back in...they say it takes a couple days for it to regain accuracy.
