Well, I decided to re-badge the car. Some of you may know I was all for the no badge for the last year or so just because it looks more clean on the trunk.

But after reading Satch Carlson's reply to a Roundel reader's inquision on a 7-series (June 2006 Roundel, page 8) I decided to rebadge. I'm sure a lot of you would agree with his words.

It seems most true Bimmer nuts and I'm sure most true European automotive enthusiasts in the U.S. believe that the de-badge is misleading. I'm not one to false advertise, so I decided to put it back on. I stole the badge off eBay for 99 cents plus 3 bucks shipping. Here are some before and after shots (sorry for the poop quality):
