IF you're talking about the "engine software" then you're right, its similar to the EAT or Conforti chip, which I understand are *better* than the Dinan version (i.e., Dinan's engine chip doesn't kick in until WOT; EAT and Conforti open things up all thru out the powerband).

What does WOT stand for? I have a 5 speed with a Dinan chip, so I have a personal interest in the answer. I also have Dinan floormats. Do those make my car go any faster?
