    Default top speed for 2000 740il?

    friend just bought one. Limited at 128 or 155? He's curious.
    95 540 six speed, Rondell 58 wheels, nothin else special

    friend's cousin's 1995 (same E number) 750iL is limited to 128, so i'd think that it would be the same for a 740.

    If it has the "James Bond" sport package, the speed limiter is set to 155.

    I'll ask him about the Bond package and if he's found the switches for the oil slick and flame thrower. One of those guys who bought it for the BMW name and status thing because his wife wanted it.
