    Default Radio- e34 '89 525 install in '87 325is. Compat?

    New radio for e34. '89 525 OEM radio compatable for swap into '87 325is?

    fits right in and if it looks like this one

    you can plug a pioneer cdxm30 or cdxm6 right into it and have a changer

    Gene, you might look into a C33 unit from the later E36s...looks sharp, little more modern looking.

    doesn't plug right in to a e30 like the 89-90 e34 pioneer, besides that is one of the better sounding you can put in a e30 espcially if the e30 has the door tweeter system

    Yeah, I imagine it is quite an upgrade from what is standard in most E30s. Have seen the E36's C33 in a buddy's E30 325i Touring, and it does look good though...I'm sure it does require some extra wiring though.
