    Default putting an 06 m5 engine into an 05 525i ??

Does anyone know if it is possible whatsoever to put an 05 or 06 M5 engine into an 05 525i? The 525i is a pretty large car, but somehow I doubt it has space for the v10 considering it currently has an inline 6....If anyone has any ideas, let me know, as I'd LOVE to boost the horsepower of my 525i. Also, does anyone know anything about smartchips? I don't think one has been released for my car yet...

    Thanks

In theory it can be made to fit, but it will be easier to use a V8 car. And the most difficult part is all the electronics and emission stuff. Best is try to find a rolled and see, full transplant.

it would be ridiculous to put it into an e34 530iT. the ultimate sleeper. if you dont want to go with the smg, the m6 is to be released with a manual trans later on. wait til one of those is wrecked. oh to dream.....

Sell the 525i and buy something faster.

No idea, but a Briggs & Stratton 3.5hp lawnmower engine will fit in there real nice.

    You'll want to put a turbo on that B & S, then...

Why put that v10 in a 525i when you can build this around it ....
