driver side window

The drivers side window on my 1990 535 will not go up or down- is it:
1. switch?
2. motor?

could be either check for power coming in and out of switch when button is up or down position if you have both in and out power than most like its gonna be your motor or track then you gotta take your door panel off and check it. if you have no power coming out of the switch then its your switch
