    Awesome, Kristian. You see why I'm having problems? I have one half done, but the rest needs the lathe and more time doing the cutting (by hand)!

    Hector's tool looks great to me though. HOwever, if you can, you might want to get a hardened bolt (and nuts) as from all reports these are the problem one faces (threads should never be tightened under load- they tend to shear) but a hardened one will help you avoid threading it so quickly. Though frequent oiling may be enough as Hector advises, if the mounts are really tight in it may be a real PITA and strip the bolt without too much trouble as it has for the other guys.

    Maybe have some spare bolts if you can find the right size: these guys have almost everything- inc Stainless fasteners (not that you want that) but I find it's always nice to poke around to see what they have on the shelves.

    I can have a look next time I go that way too (its a fair way out...) what size are the bolts Hector used would M8 fit?

    moly grease will help even non hardened bolts emmensly.
