Hey the way I see it, to each his/her own. Without all the ugly stuff, this car sounds a lot like most the cars here on this board. Like I said, loose the LV, Body kit and embroidery and this car is no different from most on this board. Why the double standard? A few months ago, one of the regular posters here put in a Navigation screen and he was praised for it. Some one explain that? As for the headrest, If you don't have kids and have never taken a road trip with them, please reserve your comments. These things are life savers.
The problem is that the car is a showy display of someone who knows nothing about BMW but sees it as a status symbol. A BMW roundel next to a shifter, an Alpina roundel on the steering wheel, M pedals, a roadster cutout on the fender. What is the thematic here really? There is no thematic - it is obviously a show piece of someone who takes the car for something it tends to stand in closed minded world of BMW=status symbol... One can find practical application of headrest mounted display but somehow I have hard time believing that this person may have kids at the moment. "Who is your daddy" means "I've got a bimmer and so I am a player"...

P.S. Dinan exhaust tips - absurd... No - in this salad of various incorherent addons there is not hint of someone who appreciates BMW for what it is, and the person is naturally and consequentially ridiculed here. We see such people ridiculed all the time in this board...
