the single wire goes to the oil pressure switch behind the compressor, the inductive pick up from the #6 plug wire plugs in right next to the crank position sensor's wire under the intake, neither will keep it from running
The spark sensor lead plugs into the engine harness that is suspended under the intake manifold. It plugs underneath, so it's hard to see where it goes. Position a mirror near the bottom of the head oil return pipe and aim it to look up. Then you should see the jack.Originally Posted by wheelerdealer
What does the other end of it connect to? Is the oil pressure sensor (roughly under the right side engine mount) lead connected? Is the A/C compressor lead connected?Originally Posted by wheelerdealer

all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
the ac lead comes off the frame and has a 3 wire plug usually with a single round pin wire and sometimes a jumper wire in the plug

Cool. I had no idea. Here in the UK, I've only seen one M20 with A/C, and it had been very amateurishly (mostly) deleted. The compressor was still there, but all associated wiring and piping was removed.Originally Posted by winfred
