    Default LKM removal

    I experienced the low beams not working on the e34. I checked out the E34 net on the LKM and re-soldering the relay joints. It does not say how the LKM comes out. I do not see any screws or clips. Does it just come out with a firm pull on it?

    That's the LKM with the black cover removed. It looks like the middle of the board is full of solder, but as I recall, it isn't. I don't remember what it is. Hold on a sec'...

    It's green epoxy. I know that because I just went out to the car, pulled out the LKM, brought it in and opened it.

    ok i have the same problem.
    i spent the better part of 5 mins looking for the LKM. (im a busy man)
    but anyway can someone tell me where it is?

    go here for a pic of location and fixit help.

    In my M50 clad 91 525im, the LKM is in a black box behind the drivers side strut tower. Can't miss it
