On a related note, I remember hearing that when you go from the stock 15, to anything 17 or above you may get a shimmy or notice front end problems that you didn't have before. What causes this and what do I need to look out for if going to 18" rims?

Don't notice any major front end problems after going 17"... but you'll be on pothole watch for the rest of your lifeBe wary of cheap rims or you may find yourself forever balancing them as well. No idea how these'd go though.
and that is the real stuff

I can tell you from experience from my E32, 18" is too much. The standard wheel on E32 was 15", later 16". A compromise would be 17", comfort wise and also from the p[roportions. But in case of wheels, comfort, sporty behavior everyone has his own preference.
the tire is part of the suspension and braking systems too, and the more wheel you have the less tire you have, so thats bad.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of large wheels and 18 is pushing it for me, but I like the style. I'd be perfectly happy with 16's if they came in that style. The search continues...

Hey have any of you purchased wheels from Lakeshore? Just wanted some feedback on their products.
Thanks!
