is it on only certain cars?
Attached are two pics I made of the intake manifold, the area just right of the throttle body.
Realoem diagram shows item 13, the temp sensor, just right of the throttle body.

Strange thing is I don't have it..
How can that be explained?

I don't think it is only on certain cars, but not sure. Realoem shows the temp sensor for my VIN number.

from the real OEM it looks like that sensor might be on the underside.

Looked around as far as I could, did not see anything resembling a temp sensor. Intake manifold must be standard on M50 cars, right? I would understand if mine did have a hole for the temp with the temp sensor missing. But how it happens that it doesn't even have a hole for it?

it's on the underside of the intake manifold towards the firewall. it's a real pain to take off. i think i had to remove the whole manifold.
