I have had it a couple of times. You mostly don't care what happens to you in that state. It is a massive "yeah whatever" experience. It is actually pleasant.
I had the same issue with my wisdom teeth being in facing forward instead of up. The one thing that bothered me about the procedure was the sound of my teeth being cracked into pieces. Since it is in your head it is really loud and you know that it is you breaking.
Follow the dentist's instructions carefully to avoid having the blood clot get dislodged. Dry sockets are nasty as in days of pain.
