    Default What the F? Issue...in need of a tissue.

    Okay, pelase excuse my poem-style writing, I wrote this in instant messenger. I'm sure you will get the idea of what happened :-)

    I was on the freeway
    going down a hill in D
    probably 70 or so
    check engine
    and im like...hmmm
    so i give it a little gas and i don't really notice anything cuz i have the radio on and i can't relaly go much faster without breaking some speed laws lol
    so i didn't really think much of it besides be careful
    then about 2 miles ahead
    on a straight
    check engine
    and NO power
    engine is on
    all dash lights on
    gas pedal does NOTHING
    no revving
    nothing
    so I pull over in this busy-ass traffic from the fast lane in N
    my car is idling like up down not really high, but just kinda fast repetitive sounds
    anyways
    gas does nothing
    .....
    and i turn it off
    call the fam see if I can use the truck (midterm!!!)
    start it up it runs fine
    check engine light turns on again on the side of the road but i can rev it and it goes away
    i get it home without a problem, but I never went above 45 the way back because i wasn't on the freeway
    so what the heck could it be?
    electrical or fuel pump?
    and sometimes i get ignition to churn but before i even do that i turn on my dask lights (2 clicks) my tachoeter goes
    and if its going it won't start until i get it to stop flipping out
    then it starts but has a rough idle
    im thinking they might be related now...
    but ya il tell this all to my techie cuz you're probably not around
    figured I'd let you know
    im glad i pulled over when I did though

    check all your grounds for corrosion, from the battery to the engine, engine to body etc. dont know where else to start.

    Make sure your voltage is high enough too, from the alternator and battery.
    Lowered with blue h&r(?) springs, Bilsteins, tint, 19# design 3 injectors, Dual Magnaflow

    Once all the basics are addressed (connections, proper voltage, etc) scan for trouble codes.
