    Default RPM guage inaccurate

Tonight I noticed my rpm's idling @ about 200rpm. Apparently...somethings wrong with my rpm guage. When I floor it and the engine winds out- by ear- the highest rpm that was shown was ~3000rpm...

I did a quick search that came up with nothing....

    Any input guys?

I guess there's a guage or measurement device somewhere that must have gone bad? -The engine still runs perfectly fine, and shifts good too.

Try the instrument cluster test. Press the right button in the dash cluster and switch key to run (not start). The tach and speedo should hit about midway and the fuel, temp and econ gauge will peg.

What reading does the tach hit?
