Default Bottom end tick. Possible oil pump?

    Hey guys and gals,

A couple of weeks ago, I started to hear a ticking noise in the motor that seems to be comming from the bottom end. It doesn't sound like the normal low toned rod knock. The tone is more of ticking like oil pumps would make. I did an oil change last weekend, and seemed to make it better, but a few days later, and after the car has warmed up from normal driving the ticking is worse. Im using Castrol High milage 10w- 40. Has anyone run into this problem before? Thanks .....Derek
