Blue carbon fibre??
Im in australia, so I can't help. sorry![]()
Does anyone here know of a place I could send all of my wood trim pieces to and have them covered in carbon fibre? I want it done well and I want it to match the color of my car.
Thanks,
Michael

Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
My car is closer to black than blue...I thought it would look nice with my grey interior. Just a thought.Originally Posted by Nick.Hay

it's really not that hard to do you just need to get the fabric, resine and time
bilstin HDs, eiback prokit, K&N instert, DEPO fogs, sound system, zimmerman rotors, metal master
Personally, I wouldn't. I think it may be too much in side that car. However, you know your car better then I do.![]()

you can get the stuff from aircraft spruce .com

You may be right. It was an idea I had. Black would look better but wouldn't match the car. I'm just not very fond of the wood I have. Doesn't seem to fit the appearence as well as it does with black/tan interiors.Originally Posted by Rob

Ever thought of having it done in gloss black like a grand piano? I've seen it before, with the lighter colored interiors it looks quite good. A good body shop could easily prep and paint them, probably wouldn't be much more than $100 or so.
As for the CF, give me a month or so and I may know what I'm doing with it. I'm going to work at the National Institute for Aviation Research in their composites research lab, probably start out doing lay-up.
Make a picture of your interior and try it in Adobe Photoshop)Originally Posted by 1995 525i
