And condition truly is the deciding factor. Obviously, this is not a run of the mill old M5- it is a rareity; hence, the asking price is not the prime factor in a serious buyer's mind, rather, it is whether or not they want a truly fabulous e34. As e34's go, this is about as good as you can get, possibly competing with a late e34 with a V8. Nice car- good luck...

I have yet to see an accurate KBB or Edmonds value for a limited production collector car. The numbers are simply too low to get a good sampling for an accurate value. Especially as the cars get older, the price range gets larger. You can find a ragged out E34 M5 for $6k, or a perfect one for $20k. There's just not enough cars sold for them to gather accurate information, all their values are basically statistics anyway. Only way to really gauge the market is to look for a while and see what the asking and selling prices are, or a market report in a specific enthusiast based magazine.
