yes, paul is right, hid's generate less heat as their wattage is not as high (35w iirc).
i got used hella units off ebay which i got about 3 years ago or so.
some users of bf.c have the depo (ebay) units and say they work pretty good.
Best to buy HID kit or piecemeal parts? Ideas please. So many options are available and I do not know what the biard consensus is or even a general direction for kit, parts or cost. TIA for everyones' advice.

I got Hella... but that is $$$ and only choice back then. If I want to do it cheaply... I'd get DEPO... I bought one for my friend... no problem so far... although MB... but that is one huge glass.
