How many drive belts in 530i M60?

Hi All,

I see there are only two belts in my car. One which drives A/C and another which goes through Alternator and water pump. How is my oil pump and power steering driven?

If I want to change all my drive belts which of these should I buy?

There are only two, the AC belt and the remainder. You 2nd and 3rd are the same.

your mileage is low, but while you're at it, you may consider replacing the the little tensioner "shock absorbers" while you're at it. They go bad eventually.

I checked on the record. Tensioners in my car was replaced one year ago by my PO.

BMA seems to have three belts listed for my car. There is no confusion in A/C belt. Which one of the other two #2 or #3?

Got me. I would get the part number from the ETK to ask them which one is which.

ok the difference between the 2 is the number of grooves it has, one has 5 and the other has 7. count your old one to be sure.

the real oem site indicates my car has 7 ribs (for her pleasure)
