Guys, I know the exhaust is fugly, but it gets me around just fine and that's really all that matters to me... Sean do you understand why I'm selling this car? Besides the fact that my mom is willing to help me pay for something new?

You can't haul a trackbike in an E34, you can't toss a bunch of crap in its bed and go camping, and you certainly can't take one to your local stealer and get it worked on for free (my mom's selling point, she hates seeing me doing maintenance everytime I come home from school).

I'd keep the E34 if I was in love with it, but frankly I'm not. It was a great car for its time but what I really need now is a truck I can drive til I die, and maybe... just maybe... my next car will be an E34 with an ls1 under the hood. But most likely not, as I've pretty much grown out of the "fast street car" stage in my life.

The factory tips are basically a slash cut. Plus- the orange or yellow only last about 60 miles - then it gets carbon covered.

To me its the easiest way to get something that looks OEM with out a lot of $$

Didn't you used to have a sig pic that was taken from above looked down on your car sorta from the rear corner? If that was your car, I thought it was one of the best looking cars on the forum.

Definitely a bargain at the price your selling for. If I lived near you, I would sell my car and buy yours.

Possibly? Although I don't really have any pictures like that?

These are probably the closest I've got to a rear shot I might've used for a sig...

My car's pretty average looking though so I don't know why you'd think something like that.

    Love that exhaust!!

Put a 520 badge on it and you'll have a nice Q car....

Is $4k the going rate for one of these in the US? Here in the UK e34's, especialy 535's, make no money at all. Have a look on ebay.co.uk. They barely make more than a few hundred £

Hmm... looked and saw a few auctions for a few hundred £, hardly anything concrete though.

As far as I know, $4k is about the cheapest you can find an E34 535i 5 speed in the US, if you can even find one that is... and both the E34 535i examples on the UK Ebay site are autos.

4K is a very good price here for a manual in good nick. And a 3.5 isn't really considered a 'big' engine here, so it doesn't get hit by depreciation very hard.
