    Default ccm spaz out?

    Hey,
Right before I left for Tahoe I started my car let it warm up and shut it off. When I shut it off it said low coolent, pow steering fluid. Both of which are completely toped off... I just checked the coolent levil when I got up here and its 4 inches from the top. And i looked around for a power steering fluid sensor and cant seem to find one on the resivor. So I think it spazed out What do you guys think?

Default No that I'm aware of in E34, but may be in 7 series.

If warning is not permanent just ignore it. I have also had very weird warnings, but seem more like brief madness of CCM.

Default So it is permanent! Have you tried ...

hooking and unhooking coolant level switch connector? Just to be sure you will be notified of a low level issue? What heppen if you do so?

Most "proper warnings come on when you shut off AND at start up.Ignore them at your peril....

Default This post from Shogun has a link to some ...

instructions to repair CCM. The best part of it is the schematics, may be because it is the only thing I can understand, they are not complete but help a lot. Being related to turn on/off of the module, the only thing I can think of is filter capacitor, it may be weak and not feeding the CCM long enough after power is shut down, causing the cluster to receive weird signals (as the Low Power Steering Fluid, that is there only for E32 750iL and is hard wired to ground in E34, so can not blame sensors in it).
