Dim Dash Board Lights

I have a question about 1989 525I. The light that indicates total milage, R,D,3, and computer info are very dim, but the lights on speedometer, rpm, and temp are just fine. Would someone can give me an idea how to fix this problem. It is hard to see when I shift gears if I am in D or R.

you will need to temove the cluster and replace the bulbs, there are seperate ones for the lcd display

Don't forget to disconnect the battery before removing the steering wheel...or it's off to SRS warning land
