Was looking at a red e36 525i 1994 today and it had a gray headliner but a light purple rear parcel shelf. Is it supposed to be that way or is there a mismatched replacement?

its probably faded from the sun. mines purple too. check the edges where it tucks under the speaker cover or c pillar cover to see what color it used to be
