    Default OT What was your first car?

    Mine was a 77 T/A then I got a 02. ( wish I still had it, damned oak tree)
    89 525, 86 jetta diesel, 07 wrx with mods, 06 commander
    1 mean wife, 2 daughters, 1 bull mastiff. At least the jetta
    is cheap to keep up.

    an 82 528i which my dad drives now. pretty schmick for a car 11 months older than me, power windows, mirrors digital radio.

    only a few aussies and kiwis will know this one.After a string of motorbikes I got a LJ Torana GTR(not XU1) which was my backup to my Ducati 900 S2.It would wheelspin in third in the wet .....but it was all over at 160Km/hr

    man i love the sound of the GTR's there was one around here, that i eventually found out was owned by a brother of a friend of mine. but only after her brother sold it he sold it and bought a proton GTi (real step up NOT!)

    1972 Volkswagon beetle. I remember floating to school when I was young with streets 4 feet underwater. I later learned to drive it when I was 11. It was a good design by Mr. Porsche and with the specifications by Adolph Hitler. Very reliable until it burst into flames from a leaking fuel line... much like Adolph himself.

    When I got out of the hospital from being run down by a car on my bike, the parents decided I wasn't gonna be riding anymore so they bought me a 2nd hand Mazda 1300 (it was the current model back then).

    as highlander said "there can only be one"! ( and then i had about 16 of them in different configerations) chrysler 69 VF Valiant sedan mushroom beige 225 slant auto 1 owner, immaculate condition $400.00au. brings tears to my eyes that she is not here any more. (dodge for yuall in the states)
