Jeff, did you, or do you, have the 712s on your ride? I have ordered 225/55/R16s and seem to recall a discussion regarding rubbingon strut housings. I believe (hope) that the kumhos are a safe bet.

Anyhow, I haven't paid for them (yet).

on e38 rims? they work fine in that size, that's what my last couple sets of tires were on my e34

thats the same size I have, no rubbing but close to the strut housing...about 3/8 an inch or so.

I also have 712's, 235's on the front and 255's in the rear. No rubbing at all. The ecsta supra 712's are pretty decent tires, but when they become worn they create excessive noise that can be heard in the cockpit.

They should fit fine - i have 235/45 fronts and 255/40 rears no rub
