    Default Strange AT problem

Hey - I was driving like that for a while... I got no idea whats going on there...

    This is my problem:

When I drive my car, and let go of the accelerator, the engine's RPMs go wild - they fall to 1000 and jump back up to 1500 periodically and rhythmically... Same thing happens when i drive my car at a certain speed and trow it in neutral... I believe that shuldnt happen, should it?

    -Artem

PS - the car was doing that before the ECU problem...

Default Its more likely to be the throttle position switch on the throttle body. If it

doesn't close the contacts for the idle position when the throttle is closed then it acts similar to what yours is doing.

Throttle body idle position sensor? I did open my throttle body a little to raise my idle a bit... I may need a new ICV and I do hav ea replacement... Its just a pain to replace it.

Ill try closing it all the way tomorrow.

there's no point in trying to fix it if your car is only running on 5 cyls. mine only has a slight lump in idle (about 20-25rpm) and it affects the transmission.
