I'm not sure. it has a similar effect to the camber links in our cars making dogs run into the rear bumpers because they are mistaken for dogbones. the henweigh though will cause certain types of flightless birds in some urban areas to jump off the roofs and fall to their death, we usualy dont notice it beacause they fall behind us.Originally Posted by dacoyote
The car is automatic, and the light comes on when I am driving at 60mph. When I remove the foot from the gas pedal the light goes off then when I accelare again the light will come on again after 10 or 15 minutes.
The light goes off when I remove the foot from the gas pedal. Is this normal?
the CEL will come on any time something fails an emisions check. what you need to do is find out what code is being set. your description can be an indication of a bad o2 sensor heater or heater circuit. the sensor cools off as you drive at low rpm cruising on the freeway, when you let off on the gas, a charge of hot unburnt fuel passes down the exhuast heating the sensor back up for a time. the sensor has a separate fuse for the heater circuit.Originally Posted by begeta50
get the codes report back.
reboot the computer and see if the problem reoccurs
