    Default m50 tb waterjacket?

Hey I was removeing my stock airbox and there is a little valve that allows water into the throttle body... What does that do? I just bypassed it with a piece of pipe.

There is a small T-stat in the air induction for turning off water to the TB at warmer temps. If you can figure out some way to keep the t-stat tip in the the new sett up that would be best.

ooooo thats what it is... Well when I first got my car the tstat broke so i just put an inline piece between the pipes. What I was wondering does anyone think that its a problem haveing hotwater go ghrough that all the time? Preformance / fuel economy?

Pyro, i deleted that circuit all together, I no longer have any coolant going through my throttle body. When that t-stat fails it opens and send hot coolant thru the throttle body full time... i didn't want to heat soak my intake any more than necessary. Just had a HARSH winter... hadnt had an "iced up" throttle body once.
