    Default Do 540i and 525i Diffs Interchange?

    Also, does the 540i really come with a 2.87 and an OD trans? That must cruise 80mph at about 2k rpms!? Were there any LSDs in the 2.87 bracket?

    Default 540 has the large carrier, the 6 series has the small carrier, not interchangeable.

    Default 540 came with 2.93 (LS was optional)
