Replacing the B-Pillars.

I'd consider them, but they do seem just a little ricey.

Most is fake and serves no real purpose except questionable style? IMO, I think it looks cheap (or out of place) no matter where used. The M6 uses it for a roof for ligher weight. The Corvette z06 uses painted carbon fiber fenders for the same reason. On our cars, it just looks like a wanabe. Again IMO.

Just my personal opinion.

Follwing my previous thread about locking myself out of the car. I scratched and chipped the edges of the outside pillars on my 525i.

Are these replacable and how easy to replace them?

the point was his pillars are scratched beyond repair and it's cheaper to go with some covers than to purchase/install original bits or even fix/fill/paint over the old ones. considering his car is bone stock it might look a little out of place, but it will still be better than scratched b-pillars
