    Default Speedometer Issue?

I've noticed twice in the last two days that my speedo was at zero and then jumped up to the actual speed. It is very infrequent. The only recent work I've done is a new EAT chip about two days before I noticed the issue and I also went to high beam Silver Star headlights in the low beams. My lights were not on either time I noticed the problem.

Your rear differential speed sensor probably needs cleaning or replacing. If thta doesnt work you might start looking at your cluster.

Ditto. It's probably full of "antisieze", wiring at the connector is corroded, or it has simply failed. Not difficult to replace, and it'd be wise (but not necessary) to change the diff fluid while you're under there.

Thanks guys. I'll check it out. I'm guessing loose or corroded wire giving an intermittent signal. I'll get it on the lift Wednesday and report back. Thanks again!
