It is easier to remove the window switches first and then just reach under and pop the hazard switch out.
Wanted to know how to remove the hazard switch from my 1995 525I. Is it just jab screw drivers underneath it and lift or something more complicated?

It is easier to remove the window switches first and then just reach under and pop the hazard switch out.

Take two small flat head screwdrivers, or use flat head jewelers screwdrivers and pry on both sides of the switch, should pop right out.
Make sure to clean all the dirt out of the switch area before installing new.

take window swich out first i broke mine yesterday prying it with a screwdriver! its cheap plastic and very brittle
Thanks for the advice. I have been systematically cleaning out every little crack or crevice in the car including the spaces between the buttons. The hazard switch is the last one.![]()
