Struts?
Ok, I have a 92 525i and I am getting prices for strut inserts ranging from 25.00 at autozone to 170.00 online. From some of the online parts stores they list different struts based on different caps, thread etc...
How do I know which one's will work?

They all will work... but the question is how long will it last and will you like the performance of that strut. There are tons of discussion on this part... Bruno's website should have all the info you needed. bmwe34.net
This is not completely correct. You need to make sure the strut insert is the correct one for your year/model. For instance my 93 525i has a special strut insert that most after market strut mfg don't make.
