    Hey, I am not for sure but I remember by looking at BMPDesign, for the 535 im pretty sure it says it requires a 9inch heat shield.

    Thanks for your input! From what I read, the kit doesn't :| I emailed K&N and they said the filter is 180mm... which is about what 7 inches? I surmise that includes the neck as well, making the actual cone about 6 inches.

    If its the same filter I have... its more like 7 inches w/ a 3 inch neck.... no way my whole thing is 7 inches

    This is what my CAI looks like:




    I bought it on eBay from a source that supplies members of another board--he makes them for the Big Sixe's, too.... Decent quality at a decent price...

    The cone itself is just under 6"...
