    hey i finnaly got it to an electrician, replaced the battery again because the first was so fried it would not charge. for 1 wk and 70 bucks they detirmined that thier was no problem no draw and the car now starts all the time the battery never dies. humm..... seams like they saw a female coming.

    I'm glad you got your car fixed.

    I don't think that your gender had everything to do with it. I've worked at or with car dealers for over five years and in every dealership it's the same story: "How much money can I slam this client for?" They don't care whether you're black, white, female, or male... they want to make $2000 off of you.

    That's why this community is such a great resource... we share info with each other and save each other thousands.

    Readers of this forum not only save money, but also a lot of aggravation of having to deal with the dealerships. Although in my case it costs me a lot of time because I don’t get anything else done when I’m on bimmer.info, I just keep reading and searching and reading and searching...

    try to get a volt/ohm tester, ther arent expensive these days. I can get one for about 10 bux and it can tell you digital voltages for the battery voltage when engine is shut off and running. There is a possibility that one of the diodes in the alternater is leaking which can cauce a dead battery situation.
