Ok, I searched RealOEM and through the forums and I couldnt find the answer. I have a 5/92 build date 525i and I cant find anywhere what size struts I need. Is there some list that will tell me if I have 19mm or 22mm bolts?

give BMA a call. 1-888-262-3911, speak to Patrick. He helped me when buying my Bilsteins...knew exactly what i needed by production date.

ALWAYS measure the dust cap, and the nut yourself. DON'T rely on BMA, or the ETK, or production date, or bilstein/boge/&c. &c application catalogue, as an application catalog won't ammend a return policy for you if your car was a production oddball. measure the items, then use the production date to find what you need.
ditto on Ryan, also I believe the Bilstein sports have a spacer that can be used in either size nut.

Measure twice, order once! New BMW axiom. Seriously, measure the nut. You never know if someone changed the strut bearings to a newer/older size. Just pop off the plastic cap with a screwdriver and put a spanner (open end wrench) to it. Real ez.
