    Default Plastic Hub-Centric Rings??

Alright. I'm looking to buy some plastic hub centric rings for the e39 wheels. I know the plastic ones don't last as long, but I don't want the metal ones because they "band" themselves to the inner rim. (I think this may have already happened because I have had the crappy ones on since September and still get the shimmy.) Anyone have any ideas on where to get them from??

You've been listening to Jeff for too long

Aluminum's the only way to go, in my book. Put a little antisieze on there and carefully mount them and you'll be fine.

well since I have to remove them for winter tires I dont want to sit there and spend 10 minutes a wheel trying to get them off. Even nicer changing to the spare on a cold rainy night.

i have the plastic rings on mine, im not sure if it could happen, but after having some 'fun' on a country road (hard acceleration and hard braking) i think i cooked my plastic hubcentric rings a little cause i had some vibrations back for a while, they have calmed down in time, but i still keep thinking i might have been better buying the aluminum ones??

its one of those questions i think, no matter which type you choose you will keep considering the other type!!!!!
