Hello,
I'm told that you can disconnect the AFM and the engine should continue to run albeit roughly... i.e. safe mode limp mode back home.
When I do that on mine, it does not. For those who know well the early motronic design, what does it say to you?
Thinking while writing. Limp mode is enriching the A/F ration and uses a fixed map. I guess the injector pulses are simulatenous as well. So I may have too much air or too much fuel that stall the engine.
The car runs well otherwise albeit MPG is not that good.
IMO there is a little thing wrong with the engine because it should be able to run with the AFM disconnected.
new O2 sensor. CPS ohms ok.
