    Default rice or nice?

this is a terrible picture. but they're illuminated door sills for the e34. wiring is ground to the ground of the microswitch in the door, positive to the battery. when the doors (drivers/pass front) open it lights up. what do you guys think? imo, it's kick ass. well, then again if i didnt like it i wouldnt have bought it. but i'd love to hear opinions!

edit: holy **** after posting i looked at it again. theyre two red neons, and then BMW illuminated in red in the center. can be done in any color. yay or nay? better pics tommorw, when i'm sober.

IMHO a bit glitzy. But it's already been established that I'm a boring old stocker fart.

Default It's for shoe mirror use at night

You can see up your dates skirt at night as she gets into the car.

That way you can check to see if she's wearing panties or not.

A good gauge to judge how the night will turn out....panties on= you have to spend $$$ to get some. No panties= head to the bar for a few drinks and then your in.

I've seen this kind of thing on an a 91 Mercedes in blue, but it didn't just glow through all of the plastic, only the specific letters were a very even glow, it actually looked quite good. Done right I could see this being very nice without the rice :-D

The only nice illuminated sills I've seen were on the RSQ concept:

I like em, my buds clk430 had that - classy, UNLESS, your car is already on the rice limit, then it could be the killer!

But on a clean e34, VERY nice.
