You either have to take them back and get the right Bilsteins with the 19mm nut....or change the strut mounts. The shaft the nut goes on is bigger with the 22mm nut.
I just bought a new set of Bils, and they have a 22mm nut. On car is 19mm. Will I need to change the mounts, or is the nut just the difference? thanks in advance.

Thanks.. I did measure the threaded shafts for both, and they were both 1/2 inch. I guess the shaft below the threads are bigger. Does anybody know where to get the mounts for 22mm nuts for a good price? I have found them ranging from 40 for the rears, to 120. for the fronts. The companies don't even tell you the bearing center size. Thanks again
the Bil sports I have got a spacer deal that looks as it will work with both strut mounts, the nut us 22mm tho. If I remove the spacer deal the strut would be sloppy in there. So in your case remove the spacer and it should fit right in there.

Bav didn't even give a price on strut mounts, or the avail. 22mm. I just installed the Bilstein sports, and the Bav springs, and it rides like a dream. The only mod I had to make, was to take a 5/16 drill bit to the mount center sleeve, and related mounting harware, to fit the front 22mm shaft. The rears were a breeze. One hour to do both sides rear, and 1.5hrs to do each front.
